Overflow Engagement Coordinator

Reports To: Overflow Director
Religious Worker Not Covered by FLS
Not Entitled to Overtime or Minimum Wage
PURPOSE
Lead, build, and grow engagement at Overflow to lead 18-25-year-olds to become a devoted and winsome generation that truly believes and shows the world that Jesus Changes Everything.
OBJECTIVE
The Overflow Engagement Coordinator leads the way in creating a culture of spiritual growth and connection in Overflow by developing leaders and strategies that call every person in Overflow to follow Jesus in their actual lived life. All of this is in an effort to accomplish the mission of Overflow, to reach 18-25-year-olds and help them walk with God.
One Sentence Job Description: Lead 18-25-year-olds to become devoted and winsome Jesus followers by engaging them in the life of Overflow and equipping them in their walk with God.
Key areas of Ownership: Overflow Engagement, Gathering Environments, Overflow Mentorship, and Baptism.

Must be an advocate for the culture and vision of Port City Community Church and Overflow.
Must be a tenacious learner.

Must have a passion and heart for college/young adult ministry.
Must have high relational skills.
Must be computer proficient.
Excellent organization and diplomacy skills are essential.
Must be highly ethical and able to process sensitive information confidentially.
Must demonstrate an acceptable balance of confidence and humility, and must be willing to proactively address issues in accordance with scripture and in alignment with the Port City Community Church statement of faith.
Must have flexibility in weekly schedule as some nights will be required.
Must possess a willingness to constantly ask for and receive feedback from direct report and ministry leaders
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Embody and champion the culture of Port City Church and Overflow.
Oversee, lead, and grow Overflow engagement.
Overflow engagement is defined as: Participating in weekly gatherings and community groups, actively serving, practicing generosity.
Connect students to the life of Overflow and Port City Community Church by helping them find their next step in baptism, care, mentorship, serving, or joining a group!
Lead, recruit, train, and invest in gathering and connect volunteer teams that help everyone in Overflow be known, encouraged, and equipped in their walk with God.
In collaboration with Overflow Community Coordinator, lead the Overflow Host Team.
Lead the creation and execution of a hospitable and engaging environment at all Overflow gatherings.
Lead and execute Overflow Connect Events by creating spaces that inspire engagement, relational connection, and invitation.
Examples: (New Student Social Environment, Overflow Halloween Environment, Overflow Winter Formal, Overflow Study Lounge Environment)
Manage all Overflow connect forms and digital connect avenues. (Overflow website, Monday Mail, and Clearstream texting service)
In collaboration with the Overflow Director, assist in leading Overflow Baptism.
Oversee, lead, execute, and grow the Luke Stilwell Mentorship Program by providing logistical oversight, vision, and care for all mentors and mentees.
In collaboration with the Overflow team, lead and care for the Overflow Intern team and directly oversee and invest in the following interns:
Host Team Intern
Connect Intern
Next Steps Intern
Hospitality Intern
Help create a clear vision for spiritual growth, biblical teaching, leadership development, and ministry care.
1-1 meetings with students with the goal of building relationships, discipleship, and spiritual growth to spearhead engagement through Overflow and PC3.
Contributes in weekly Planning Meetings (Mon) and Gathering Programing Meetings (Wed).

General Work Schedule:
Full-time (40 hours, excluding lunch)
Monday - 9am - 5pm (7-hour day)
Tuesday - 11am - 11pm (12 hour day)
Wednesday - 10am - 5pm (6 hour day)
Thursday - 12pm - 930pm (9.5 hour day)
Friday – 9am - 2pm (5 hour day)
Saturday and Sunday - OFF
